I started Artemis Business Services because I genuinely love this work, and because I know firsthand how much lighter things feel when your books are actually handled instead of hanging over your head.
I've been a bookkeeper for almost 10 years now. Along the way I picked up my Intuit Certified Bookkeeper certification, my Intuit ProAdvisor Level 2 certificate, and my Intuit Payroll Certificate, so you're getting someone who's not just experienced, but trained and certified on the tools your business already runs on.
How I work
I'm not interested in being a faceless bookkeeping department. When you work with me, you're working with me, someone who takes the time to actually understand your business, not just move numbers from one column to another.
Whether your books need a fresh start with a cleanup and catch up, or you just want someone reliable handling the month to month, I treat your financials with the same care I'd want for my own.

If your books feel like a puzzle you can't quite solve, you're in good company, that's exactly the kind of problem Alayna loves. Bookkeeping wasn't the plan, it happened by pure chance. But once she got into it, she realized this was the work she was made for: making sense of the mess, finding where the pieces fit, and helping business owners actually understand what their numbers are telling them.
Almost 10 years later, that's still what she does best. Whether your books are a little behind, a lot behind, or just need someone steady keeping an eye on them, she'll get things sorted and keep them that way.
When she's not deep in someone's books, you'll find her losing spectacularly to her kids at Uno No Mercy, dragging the family out to a new nature park, or waging a losing battle to keep her cats out of her (extensive) yarn stash.
